Why do we Sing?

Because songs are sermons that we can actually remember. The sermon explores the question “Why do we sing?” by inviting the congregation to reflect on their own experiences with worship music. It highlights how singing engages both mind and heart, helping us remember truth and connect with God and others. Through scripture, personal stories, and table discussions, the message shows how singing expresses our faith in all seasons—joy, sorrow, and crisis—and reminds us of the deep longing for communal worship experienced during COVID-19. Ultimately, it calls us to see singing as a powerful, God-given way to draw near to Him and one another.
